Amateur Radio Club Broadcast from Celestine 175 - The Patoka Valley Amateur Radio Club (PVARC) will put Amateur Radio on display at the Celestine 175 Celebration. Mike Vogler, President of PVARC and several amateur radio club members will be operating several stations on Saturday June 30, from 1-7pm under the Uebelhor Toyota tent near the craft booths. This is what amateur radio calls Special Event stations and will operate with a special call sign W2C or Whiskey 2 Celestine. Special Event stations operate to commemorate special events all over the world with Celestine 175 being spread the world over on short wave radio. Stop by our station and see for yourself the “magic of amateur radio”. For more information about Amateur Radio check out www.ARRL.org or mvogler1@frontier.com.
